Petronas Carigali needed to recoat their internal vessels but the shutdown time was only for a few days. This meant that an epoxy based coating was out of the question due to the long drying time needed. The decision was made to use Nukote Polyurea ST due to its fast curing time and superior physical qualities. The absence of VOCs was also a factor due to the nature of the project which involved working in confined space. |
